This program has children begin their preschool experience. The teacher to child ratio is 7 children to 1 teacher. The teachers focus on social and self-help skills. They introduce basic learning skills using colors, shapes, letters, and numbers in their environment.
Preschool 3 & 4:
The emphasis in this stage is on the development of social, self-help, and self-esteem skills. The children learn through building with blocks, dramatic play, art, music, science, and circle time.
This classroom continues the preschool experience and prepares children for kindergarten. The emphasis on social, self-help, and self-esteem skills is continued in this class as well as developing a sense of responsibility and independence. The classroom is set up so the children can exercise their growing curiosity and need to explore through activities, computer time, and center play.
